Birth Doula Service

prenatal visits

34-38 weeks

After an initial phone consultation, I will meet up with you to discuss your general birth plan, understand your preferences, and talk about what you expect of me as your birth doula. I will also provide any wanted resources in our area for pregnancy and post-partum related services, midwives, massage/chiropractors, lactation consultants, etc!

The second visit we will explore physical pain-management measures, massage, and I will show your partner how we can be a team to assist you during those intense moments. We can discuss postpartum doula needs as well for those needing extra care and support.

Labor support

I will be there to assist you with pain management, breathing and relaxation, and guidance for those intense contractions. I will be emotionally available for you and adhere to your choices we discussed in our prenatal visits. I will help you advocate for yourself and your choices, and work with your partner to calm fears and allow you to focus.

postpartum visits

Having a baby is not easy, and often the person actually giving birth, and their needs, are overlooked by friends and family once baby arrives. Within the first two weeks after the birth of your baby, the postpartum doula would come to your home and check on you, to process the birth experience and allow you to talk without hesitation on how you are feeling. I also can do some simple house-keeping tasks, assist with breastfeeding, and answer any questions.

Post-Partum Doula Support - Overnight

$30 per hour

I can care for your baby while you sleep and bring baby to you to nurse or prepare baby’s bottles.

Overnight Care (8-10 hours) can be scheduled according to your specific needs and any additional desires can be met if discussed ahead of time.

birth Preparation Discussions

Now offering one-on-one childbirth preparation classes with you and your partner. I will come to you and we will learn about the stages of labor and what to expect. We will cover what to look for in early labor, discuss ideas of how your partner can best assist you, and ensure you feel informed of what the process will look like if you plan to deliver in a hospital, birth center, or homebirth setting.

Placenta Encapsulation

$300

Placenta encapsulation can be an amazing resource for rejuvenation postpartum in order to restore the body of vital nutrients, I can take care of your placenta for you! Contact me for instructions on how to care for your placenta immediately post-delivery. Placenta tincture add-on $50.

In-hospital Birth Support
